The Taylor 900 Series has long been home to some of Taylor's finest visual artistry, and the new 914ce Special Edition continues that tradition with a beautiful appointment package sure to capture attention wherever players take it. This Grand Auditorium boasts back and sides of solid Indian rosewood paired with a Sitka spruce top, yielding a rich harmonic texture with bell-like trebles, rich lows and a slightly scooped midrange. Taylor's V-Class bracing dials up louder volume and longer sustain, drawing out more of the essential tonal qualities that players love in the rosewood/spruce combination. Headlining the visual details is their beautiful Cindy inlay motif — which longtime Taylor fans will recognize as the inlay scheme used on Taylor’s 900 Series years ago — in mother-of-pearl and green abalone for the fretboard, peghead and bridge. Other appointments include a full-body gloss finish, a single-ring paua rosette, ebony binding with a matching radius-style armrest and backstrap, Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold, koa/black top purfling with paua edge trim, and koa purfling for the back, sides, fretboard and peghead.
