The RCF J8 features a line source satellite module with eight 2” full-range drivers paired with a high-powered 12” woofer in a bass reflex enclosure. All powered by on-board 1400 W Class D amplification. The EVOX J Series maintains a similar footprint to the original EVOX systems, now in a portable composite enclosure. The RCF EVOX J8 features a robust 1,400-watt Class D amplifier, fine-tuned to deliver massive sound pressure levels with an exceptional attack, natural transients, and minimal loss of heat. Moreover, this amplifier’s unmatched efficiency allows the EVOX J8 to perform to its fullest without a cooling fan — the amplifier is mounted directly to a solid aluminum heat exchanger to reduce the need for moving parts and increase long-term reliability. Lastly, the input circuit’s low-distortion operation ensures that your signal’s character remains true to the source at all volume levels.

Effortless stage setup

Apart from its world-renowned RCF sound, Zoso Music live sound pros find that the EVOX J8’s greatest asset is its sheer ease of use. The 1-2 punch of a 12-inch woofer at the base with the integrated tower containing eight 2-inch ultra-compact full-range drivers cuts down on setup time (and van space!) since the tower mounts directly to the top of the bass reflex enclosure. Simply screw the pole into the top of the sub, plug in your SpeakOn cable, and the EVOX J8 is ready to go! The pole even offers adjustable height to find the perfect sonic position for the 8 x 2-inch driver tower.
