FEATURES

Body

• Electric guitars are one of the heaviest musical instruments. Playing for a long time also puts a strain on the body. If the burden affects the performance, there is neither a former nor a child. However, it is also conceivable that the sound quality will be impaired just by emphasizing playability. Therefore, as a compromise, in POTBELLY, the R of the part of the back of the body that hits the body was increased. It was easy to talk about with a backcut, but I decided that it was not suitable for this guitar.
  
  
• Double cutaway design with good playability. Although it looks a little small, it is designed to transmit string vibration to the body without waste by taking a large width around the bridge.
  
  
• The top material is POTBELLY and figured maple. Produces a mild tone with many overtone components. The beautiful grain is also a big feature. POTBELLY-STD uses plain hard maple, and its attacky and gorgeous tone is attractive. The back material is mahogany. Since ancient times, it has been extremely compatible with maple.
  
  
• It is a unique deep arched top that sublimates these good materials into the body as an instrument. It is also the part where the craftsmanship of ESP shines most. The string vibration received by this plump arched top, which is the origin of the name POTBELLY, should be amplified and spread throughout the body top, and then transmitted to the entire body and neck, and should be felt firmly in the player's left hand.

Head

• High-precision closed kia pegs are arranged in a well-balanced manner on the head with a small design. It is designed to ensure easy access to the truss rod adjustment section and to minimize the bending of the strings that causes tuning errors.
  
  
• The head angle is set to 10 degrees to stabilize tuning and improve sustain. I want you to experience the smooth playing feel and the stickiness of the sound when you stretch the strings of 10 to 46 gauge. The volute on the back of the head prevents accidents such as broken heads, tightens the vibration of the head, and plays a part in the sound character of this guitar. The nut uses beef bone with stable sound quality.

Fingerboard

• POTBELLY uses rosewood, which has excellent slipperiness and sound quality. The R of the fingerboard is the 305R, which realizes a bend without clogging. Regular wide JESCAR frets are struck for smooth fingering. Please also pay attention to the careful fret and fingerboard side treatment.
  
  
• The position mark is the Fish Eye mark, which is the charm point of POTBELLY. The abalone is inlaid in the white butterfly shell to appeal its presence without being gorgeous.

Neck joint

• Mahogany is used for the neck material. The grip shape is a slightly thicker shape with a vintage taste. However, the smooth finish of the fingerboard edge gives a good grip.
  
  
• The neck joint is set three times by the deep joint method, and SN cut is applied to ensure strength and playability.

Control

• 1 volume, 1 tone, and selector switch without any gimmicks. BOURNS made in USA is adopted for the pot, and an oil condenser is used for the tone control capacitor. There is room for additional switches or pots in the control cavity.
  

Pickguard

• Although it is not installed at the time of shipment, an original pickguard is included in response to the user's voice saying "If there is no pickguard, it's a little ...".
