The ATH-S300BT headphones feature ambience control functions to adjust your exposure to surrounding noise, including a hear-through function that lets you catch ambient sounds while listening to music, and a noise-cancelling function, allowing you to reduce unwanted background noise. The three modes—hear-through, noise-cancelling, and OFF—can be switched at any time with just the press of a button to suit your situation.

The built-in microphones capture ambient sounds so you can remain aware of your surroundings while wearing the headphones. Switch to this mode when you want to listen to the environment around you.
