The DM48.20 console boasts high interoperability with other manufacturers' products in the market due to its ability to be networked via DANTE and AES67 networks. It can run in both 96 kHz and 48 kHz, making it compatible with over 3000 types of products from more than 500 manufacturers. Its network also allows for simple daisy chain connection, saving on the cost of external network switches. Additionally, the network is scalable to large multi-switch network setups for big projects such as audio systems for stadiums.
One of its unique features is the Feedback Canceller (FBC), with 24 built-in FBCs that help eliminate feedback in real-time during mission-critical events.
The DM48.20 digital mixing console is designed to combine the best design of a mixing console with advanced modern technology, making it easy to operate and set up. Its 10" touch screen and Graphic User Interface (GUI) make it easy to learn, understand and master, making it ideal for beginner users with limited knowledge. System integrators, project companies, and audio system engineers will find project deliveries much smoother, and after-sales support on the mixer's operation will be less demanding. The console's BUS architecture offers flexibility for monitoring or effects send. The analog type surface is equipped with large motorized faders that show the level of signal or parameters to be edited instantly. The touch screen helps visualize and edit the parameters very quickly, and physical buttons and sliders give direct access to parameters as an alternative to touch functionality.
The DM48.20 has a powerful DSP processing system for its price point, with output equipped with a 31-band Graphic Equalizer (GEQ), 8 of which run in parallel to process the audio signal. All 48 input channels and 18 outputs come with DELAY, 4-band PEQ, Low Pass Filter (LPF), High Pass Filter (HPF), and PHASE processing. GATE & COMPRESSOR processing is available in 32 channel inputs.
While it is primarily designed for fixed installations, the DM48.20 digital audio mixing console is also a powerful tool for live applications through its signal processing capabilities. Remote controls are available through an Ethernet port, and a tablet app can be used for wireless control.
