Superlux D108B Dynamic vocal mic

The Superlux D108A a milestone in the world of professional vocal microphones, especially useful for recording applications, exhibiting exceptionally uniform on-axis and off-axis frequency response. The D108A is supercarioid directivity; it suppressed the sound come from the side, and reduces the coloration and acoustic feed back. The modular design of the capsule with its goldplated connectors permits easy separation of the grille and capsule from the body of the microphone, facilitating maintenance.

It is the best choice for a professional singer. The Superlux D107A and D108A have the same voicing, but D107A is a smaller version of the D108A.

D108 series comes with two versions, one is D108A designed for recording with tailored vocal sound and best for close miking, and the other is D108B best for live sound performance with a tailored bass punch response. The modular design of the D108’s capsule with its gold-plated connectors permits easy separation of the grille and capsule from the body of the microphone, facilitating maintenance.

The D108 has a super-cardioid pickup pattern which isolates the main sound source while minimizing background noise.
