Paul Reed Smith's first guitar was built as a challenge to his college music professor for some credits. He got an “A” and decided to pursue his dream of making guitars for a living. Each guitar he built was road tested at gigs by Paul himself, and over time he tweaked his design until he had what we all now know and love as the PRS design. Played by such legends as Carlos Santana and Al Di Meola, every PRS guitar is the product of decades of testing, rethinking, and reinventing. PRS quality is not confined to electric guitars. The SE Tonare T40E gives you PRS quality in an affordable acoustic-electric guitar that is built to be taken on stage. Its X-brace/classical hybrid bracingis taken from PRS's USA and Private Stock lines for optimum clarity and projection. The spruce top and ovangkol back and sides provide a classic warm and articulate sound. The large yet comfortable Tonare non-cutaway body style gives you excellent acoustic projection, and the Fishman GT1 under-saddle electronics means the SE Tonare T40E is ready to go onstage right out of the case. Its between this and fender champion, and i absolutely love this crush 12. Maybe small in size but it punched well in volume. Nice clean tones and heavy distortion too. Recommended for practice amps or maybe small venue performance too.
Bought a different model at first but sold out and i replaced with this strat. Couldn't be happy, the guitar feels great, color, design, quality all good. What i love the most is the after sales service, had trouble in setting up the guitar after changing to heavier gauge and zoso helped me resetting it with no cost. Great service especially to Amin and Jack.
Genuine, no damage, easy to set, (obviously not set yet, probably still in factory setting), overall satisfied with the purchased. Will be shopping again in the future.
