Accordingly, the 7-string Bass features three flatwound strings over the fretless bubinga fingerboard and a piezo pickup for double bass-like sounds, while classic roundwounds over the fretted rosewood fingerboard along with magnetic pickups and the active 2-band tone control provide classic E-Bass sounds.
