The Limited Edition Twisted Telecaster® Custom Journeyman Relic® from the 2023 Fender Custom Shop Collection features a vibrato tailpiece, reverse control plate, and an impressive Journeyman Relic 2-Color Sunburst lacquer finish. This finish beautifully replicates the look of an instrument that has changed hands or been passed down over many years, embodying the atmosphere of moderate use in home sessions, occasional jams, and weekend gigs. Meticulously recreating subtle cracks, endearing wood dings and dents, and slight hardware aging, this model is a masterpiece.

Meticulously crafted, the select ash body with parchment binding pairs seamlessly with the rift-sawn maple neck featuring a soft '57-style "V" profile. The reverse control plate, within pinky finger reach, facilitates smooth volume swells. Two Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups offer distinct sonic characters, delivering powerful Telecaster and shimmering Stratocaster tones. Adjusting the neck pickup coil height and shortening the bridge pickup coil create a rich, dark midrange for expressive sound.

The Fat '50s wiring ensures smoother and more balanced volume and tone controls, minimizing high-end tone loss when rolling back the volume and providing a more transparent, vibrant, and powerful tone. The Bigsby B5 vibrato tailpiece imparts a distinctive pedal steel-like shimmer and cool aesthetics. Additional premium features include a 9.5-inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets (6105) and a bone nut, a 3-way pickup switch, a single-ply parchment pickguard, vintage-style tuners, a wing string tree, and a deluxe hard shell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
